Corumbá city
Corumbá is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. It is the city of the state that receives the most tourists, being known as White City by the coloration of its soil, rich in limestone. Today, with the Pantanal occupying 60% of its territory, it is considered the Capital of the Pantanal, and is also its gateway. Tourism has been helping to develop the labor market associated with sport fishing. The launch of the Pantanal Convention & Visitors Bureau Capital is under study.
