National Theater, San Jose, Costa Rica

The National Theater of Costa Rica is considered the finest historical building in the capital city of San Jose. It opened in 1897 and is based on the architectural style of the Paris Opera House. The theater stands in the Plaza of Culture in the center of the city and is the center of cultural performances in Costa Rica.
