Arequipa, Peru – November 24, 2018: Water fountain at the Plaza de Armas at twilight. In the middle of the Plaza de Armas, there is a small park with a fountain in the middle. On the fountain, you can find the statue of Tuturutu, an important symbol of the city.
The city center of Arequipa, Peru is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is composed of baroque buildings derived from white volcanic sillar stone, giving Arequipa the nickname ‘Ciudad Blanca’ (White City). To add to the mystique of the city, it is surrounded by three impressive volcanoes (El Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu).
